For one week, the Time and Temperature Building will display the message 'BIKE' 'SWAP' in honor of the Great Maine Bike Swap, an event sponsored by the Bicycle Coalition of Maine.

The bike swap provides Mainers with an opportunity to purchase used bicycles at an affordable price or sell their own unused bikes.

Shoppers at the swap will be able to choose all different types of bicycles including: mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrids, recumbents, children's bikes and more. If you want to sell your bike, volunteers at the event will help you determine and set an appropriate price.

Interested in shopping or swapping bikes? The Great Portland Bike Swap will be held on April 29th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m, in the Sullivan Gym on the University of Southern Maine campus. Admission is $3, with free admission for University of Southern Maine students and children 12 years old or younger.
