Graduating high school seniors were asked to come up with a creative message about about the dangers of drinking and driving and the dangers of distracted driving. This year's record-breaking total of 125 entries consisted of poems, posters, videos, original songs, paintings, essays, and more. Some of them extraordinary, all of them equally thought-provoking, moving and real.
Our five first-place winners won a new laptop computer, five second-place winners won a new Apple iPad, ten third-place winners received an Apple iPod Touch. Everyone who entered the contest took home a gift bag full of fun prizes in appreciation of their efforts.
We extend a sincere thank you to all of the Maine teenagers who participated in our contest this year. Please visit www.arrivealivecreativecontest.com or connect with us on our official Arrive Alive Creative Contest Facebook fan page to learn more information and view a collection of past winners.
Each year communities in Maine are devastated by tragic car accidents. Help Joe Bornstein send the message to teenagers: "Stay Safe and Arrive Alive!"
