ILAP CeleSoirée Sponsor Joe Bornstein Promotes Event On Time And Temperature Building

The Law Offices of Joe Bornstein is honored to once again support the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project’s (ILAP) 7th annual CeleSoirée: Celebrating Immigration through the Arts event.

The event will take place on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 5 - 9 p.m. at The Portland Company complex at 58 Fore Street in Portland.

This vibrant night of entertainment and fundraising will help to further ILAP’s outstanding, steadfast work on behalf of Maine’s immigrants and their families. In addition, this year’s very special CeleSoirée will also commemorate ILAP’s 10th anniversary as a legal aid agency.

ILAP, a nonprofit organization, advocates for our state’s low-income immigrants and works to improve their overall well-being. By providing education and affordable legal assistance to clients from over 100 different countries hailing from all 16 of Maine’s counties, ILAP helps immigrants stabilize their immigration status and improve their quality of life within Maine society.

The upcoming CeleSoirée will feature a variety of celebration and performance, including: international cuisine provided by many of greater Portland’s diverse restaurants, live African drumming by musician, Jordan Benissan, live Flamenco music and dance by Olas, a Portland-based acoustic group, as well as both a live and silent auction featuring art, jewelry and more, donated by local artists and businesses.

Tickets to the event can be purchased online at http://www.ilapmaine.org/ and will be available at the door.

In addition to being a corporate sponsor of this fun-filled evening, the Law Offices of Joe Bornstein is donating time and space on Portland’s Time and Temperature Building to help recognize ILAP and CeleSoirée. In honor of the event, the illuminated Time and Temperature sign will temporarily flash: ‘ILAP’ followed by ‘CELE’ in place of ‘CALL’ and ‘JOE.’

The Law Offices of Joe Bornstein is proud to support the wonderful, significant efforts of the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project and its annual CeleSoirée: Celebrating Immigration through the Arts event.
